I'll start by saying I consider myself a pizza conneseur, I try pizza absolutely everywhere I go. This has got to be one of the tastiest pizzas I've had. It's absolutely perfect all around. I especially liked the cheese baked crust. I was only passing through town and got one slice, but that's enough for me to be sure this place knows a good pie. It was also 5 for a fairly large slice which I thought was reasonable. I will be ordering a whole pizza, maybe 2 next time I'm here. Don't pass on this place, you won't be disappointed!

If you’re ever in Pemberton, BC, Backcountry Pizza is a must-visit! We had the pleasure of dining there yesterday and tried their Malawi BBQ Chicken and Vitally Vegan pizzas, and both were absolutely fantastic. The Malawi BBQ Chicken was a flavor-packed delight! The peri-peri spiced chicken was perfectly seasoned, and the house BBQ sauce added a smoky sweetness that paired wonderfully with the aged cheddar and cilantro-lime drizzle. The red onion added just the right crunch to balance it all out. Every bite was a burst of flavor. On the other hand, the Vitally Vegan pizza was equally impressive. It’s rare to find a vegan pizza that doesn’t compromise on taste, but this one nailed it. The combination of fresh vegetables, Castelvetrano olives, and the basil-cilantro lime drizzle was refreshing and satisfying. Even as non-vegans, we were thoroughly impressed by its taste and quality. The pizzas were handmade with premium ingredients, and it truly showed. The crust was just the right thickness—crispy on the outside and soft inside. The staff was friendly, and the ambiance of the place was warm and inviting. Whether you’re a meat lover, vegetarian, or vegan, Backcountry Pizza has something for everyone. Highly recommended!
